Sweet Vintage

This past week was all about vintage cups! Found these lovely pyrex butterfly gold mugs.
I also found these milk glass cups
How can you not smile when you see this sunshine McDonald's cup?!
I don't know who Joanne Police is, but thank you for your cup!
Nice cup for the husband!
My husband was all giggles like a little kid when we saw this at a yard sale!
Do you know what it is, yet?
It is a Pachinko machine. I had no idea. I never played with one before, and it was also only $5.00 What a deal!

Sweet Vintage Finds

Hope your Easter holiday was joyous, and you are enjoying your spring season. Weather here in Southern CA is so crazy. It's been hot the past few days and supposedly its suppose to rain tomorrow and part of this weekend.

Here are two treasures I found:

These sweet bunnies just in time for Easter!

Here is my favorite find! I loved Wonder Woman as a kid, so imagine my eyeballs popping out of my head when I found this cake pan set for only a $1.00, with the box. The box is supper worn but I don't care!

It even came with the plastic face!

I still think Wonder Woman rocks! Have a great day and check out these parties I'm partying at!

I'm Tired of Seeing it All!

Last week at my favorite thrift, I found all these great finds.

The thrift store seems to have raised their prices too! GGRRRR....Items that were a $1.00, are now $2 or $3. I bought a few books, books seem to do well for me at consignment sales, and I also save them for book lots on ebay. Found some recipe cards, plush toys, a pyrex bowl, and other toys. The cashier rung up my pyrex bowl, books, an ionic breeze, vintage see n say, and a few of the plushes. He gave out a big sigh and said what if I just charge you $2.00 for the rest because I'm tired of seeing it all! I was thinking okay, great, and I also just thought he was talking about the plush toys. I didn't mind since they raised prices. After he bagged the plush toys, he bagged the rest of the toys. Inside I was screaming yeah!! Obviously he was talking about everything he didn't ring up yet. I paid him my total of $17.00, which probably would have been double that without his generous $2.00 charge for everything else. I will make up that $17.00 just by selling the Ionic Breeze and vintage see n say.

Friday I went back, and found this Fisher Price Spin and Bounce Zebra for $5.00. It does sell well on ebay but I am not brave enough to ship big items! Any who......I listed it on craigslist, and within 5 minutes I already received an email from someone saying they wanted to purchase it for my asking price of $20. Yeah! She came when she said she would, so it was an easy peasy transaction on Craigslist!

Hope you found some great deals!

Vintage Finds

Here are some vintage goods I found at the thrift stores the past few weeks.

I love this owl I don't know if he was originally a cookie jar or not. He does hold utensils well, though.

Vintage Fire King cups.

I sold the flower cups for $9.99. Purchased both for a $1.00.

I sold the pear one for $14.50. Paid 75 cents.

I love this eagle. He was $2.00. I may paint him white and keep or sell, don't know yet!

Last but not least, my favorite find was this Butterfly Gold loaf pan!!

Wishing you good treasure finds!

Would you buy it Wednesday?!

I was at the thrift store yesterday and saw this bin of toys. At first I only saw the $9.97. Did a double take and saw it was marked down to $4.95

I looked and tried to peek as much as I could. Nothing seemed to "jump out" at me.

So my question to you is, would you have bought the toys just because, to see if something was sellable, or to keep? No, the bin is not included, but that would be awesome to store everything!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everybody!

Let's get started with the goodjunk finds of the new year, shall we?
Here are some finds from the first thrift store visit of the year:

Most of those items are to sell at a consignment sale. I signed up for one at the end of February and another one in March. The dinosaur plush I will probably sell on ebay. It is a Kohl's/Disney exclusive.

Here is what I found at a yard sale:
Wiggles talking dolls and Hallmark ornaments

Check out the completed listings for these dolls on ebay.

The new year has started out on a good note for me in blogging land, my pyrex was featured at Cap Creations!

Hope you are finding some good treasures!

Pyrex for Christmas!

Hope everyone is having fun and safe times this holiday season!
Mine so far has been lovely. Last week the Pyrex stars in the sky were aligned cause I found some great Pyrex pieces at the thrift store.
Lovely Olive casserole dish with a lid!

Here's the fun part, not only did I find one:

I found two for $3.00 each! Perfect, just in time for Christmas!
One held the green bean casserole, and the other was filled with this recipe by the Pioneer woman! Brussel sprouts with basalmic and cranberries. They were very yummy and my first time eating brussel sprouts.

I also found this fridgie with lid. She's not in the best shape, but she will do and I couldn't pass her up, 'cause she was only $1.00.

If you would like to see my other pyrex pieces, go here!

Thrift Store Finds

Last week I made it to the thrift store, I haven't been in two weeks!! I found a few toys. Lorax,(Dr. Suess Kohl's plush), spanish/english care bear, build a bear, and bouncy wiggle pig.

Speaking of the Lorax, here are some completed listings on ebay. Did you know a movie about him is coming out in March? Plush toys are selling well now, but perhaps a little better when the movie comes out?!

Another chipmunk movie is also coming out on Christmas. Dig and look for chipmunk toys!

Goodjunk Finds and Inspiration

Found a few things at the thrift store this week.
Some toys to sell:

Also this hobnail milk glass vase and letters. I found the large A first then the small ones that connect together. Wish there was more or I would have found the rest to see what the little ones spelled.

I plan on turning them into xmas present ornaments like this:
