Pyrex for Christmas!

Hope everyone is having fun and safe times this holiday season!
Mine so far has been lovely. Last week the Pyrex stars in the sky were aligned cause I found some great Pyrex pieces at the thrift store.
Lovely Olive casserole dish with a lid!

Here's the fun part, not only did I find one:

I found two for $3.00 each! Perfect, just in time for Christmas!
One held the green bean casserole, and the other was filled with this recipe by the Pioneer woman! Brussel sprouts with basalmic and cranberries. They were very yummy and my first time eating brussel sprouts.

I also found this fridgie with lid. She's not in the best shape, but she will do and I couldn't pass her up, 'cause she was only $1.00.

If you would like to see my other pyrex pieces, go here!

Kids Christmas Ornaments

I work at a preschool a few days a week and here are some ornaments we made for the parents.

Stamped their hands on felt and made a frame with wooden popsicle sticks. They decorated them with stickers.

You know, kids really love stickers! We made a triangle ornament with wooden popsicle sticks, and decorated with stickers again! We also added their pictures inside the frame.

Mini wreath of beads on a pipecleaner.

One of my favorite kid crafts is painting a pinecone, and adding pom poms for decoration. One of the kids in my class added his wreath to his pinecone as a decoration. Gotta love kids and their imagination!

Hope you are having a great holiday season so far!

Swapmeet Finds

Went to the swapmeet and walked the rows and rows of vendors. I found a few things that caught my eye!

This lovely Christmas tablecloth with pom pom trim!

A box of vintage blue lights that are now sitting in a jar.

This old milk crate with bottles!

I bought everything pictured except the crate. I would have loved the milk bottle crate but I "didn't" need it. The seller wanted 25!

Hope you all had a good week and found some lovely Treasures!

Thrift Store Finds

Last week I made it to the thrift store, I haven't been in two weeks!! I found a few toys. Lorax,(Dr. Suess Kohl's plush), spanish/english care bear, build a bear, and bouncy wiggle pig.

Speaking of the Lorax, here are some completed listings on ebay. Did you know a movie about him is coming out in March? Plush toys are selling well now, but perhaps a little better when the movie comes out?!

Another chipmunk movie is also coming out on Christmas. Dig and look for chipmunk toys!

Are you ready for black friday?

(image from my pinterest)

Today the family and I went to Sam's Club. (exciting, I know, right?!) After we left, we passed Best Buy and saw 3 tents set up, with some crazy lovely people waiting for the Best Buy deals. I'm guessing it's for the big flat screen selling for $199. ( A little rumor a friend told me)

I went out last year thinking I was all that and a bag of chips, 'cause Toys R Us was opening at midnight and I was going to beat everybody and get the best deals! HAHA! I left my home around 9pm, and when I entered the shopping center, the line was already around Toys R Us and 5 other buildings. I turned my truck around and we headed home!!

I might go out this Friday, but not at the crack of dawn. Maybe~`don't know yet! Well, if you are one of those lovely people who has a great Black Friday plan, KUDOS TO YOU!

October Review

October is over, can you believe it? The weather here is still crazy, some days it's in the 80's and others back down to the 60's.
I had 22 sales this month. I sold a few of my plush toys that I talked about here and here.
Some of my best sales were this electronic Pikachu, someone bought it for my buy it now price of $24.95. Paid a $1.00.

Roger Rabbit Plush sold for $34.00, paid $2.00

Toy Story Jessie Boots for $24.50. Paid $1.00

I had to open one unpaid item case, but they paid today!
Have a great day!

Mystery Utensil

I saw this at an estate sale. Probably the cheapest thing there. Items at estate sales here are so expensive, and some sellers will even have signs what a particular item sells for on ebay and charge you just as much or maybe $10 less. Not much of a profit if you are a reseller. Anyways, this was 50 cents!
What is it? I'm not sure. It was in a jar with some other kitchen utensils. At first I thought it was a garden tool, but the handle is thin. Perhaps to use with some meat?
As you can see from the pic, this utensil overpowers my meat! lol... If anyone knows what it is, that would be greatly appreciated!

Goodjunk Finds and Inspiration

Found a few things at the thrift store this week.
Some toys to sell:

Also this hobnail milk glass vase and letters. I found the large A first then the small ones that connect together. Wish there was more or I would have found the rest to see what the little ones spelled.

I plan on turning them into xmas present ornaments like this:
